Cold-rolled grain-oriented (CRGO) silicon steel cores are step-lap stacked to keep no-load losses low, and electrolytic copper is used through the HV and LV windings for long thermal life on continuous industrial duty.
Each unit is vacuum dried, filled with filtered transformer oil and routine tested for ratio, polarity, winding resistance, insulation resistance, no-load loss, impedance and applied/induced voltage before dispatch. Tanks are shot-blasted and finished with a two-coat industrial paint system suited to the local climate.
